Dr. Munoz brings to Metrowest Family Dental advanced knowledge in Prosthodontics. She was raised in Pasadena, California and headed east for college to the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn she graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biology in 2001. Her older sister sparked her interest in dentistry when she was a dental student at Penn at the same time. Dr. Munoz then attended the University of Connecticut where she earned her DMD degree. As a dental student she was awarded the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award, the American College of Prosthodontists Award and the Alpha Omega Fraternity Award. During her studies at UConn, the prosthodontic faculty spurred her desire to continue her education in the restorative sciences. As a result she went to Harvard University where Dr. Munoz received her certificate in Prosthodontics and a master of medical science in oral biology.

Dr. Munoz currently lives in Wellesley and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and pets. Her hobbies include gardening, cooking and horseback riding.
