Dr. Michael H. Davies, DMD

As owner of Metrowest Family Dental and a member of the team of general dentists, Dr. Michael H. Davies brings a unique vision to the practice, one that combines expertise in state-of-the-art dentistry with a patient-focused model of care. “In the past ten years as a dentist, I have had the pleasure of providing care to our wonderful patients in the Metrowest area. My team and I believe that caring for people begins with a commitment to doing our very best. We are proud to offer a contemporary, state-of-the-art practice that honors the trust our patients have put in us for many years.” Dr. Davies is known by patients and colleagues for his enthusiasm and leadership on concerns related to dental health.
Dr. Davies has practiced in the Metrowest area since 1999. A graduate of Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine, he completed a prestigious two-year general dental residency at St. Barnabus Hospital and Cornell Hospital in New York City. His education extends to advanced post-doctoral studies at the Pankey Dental Institute, where he received advanced training in prosthetics and treatment of TMJ disorders.
Currently Dr. Davies is a clinical instructor at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He is a co-founder and officer of the Multidisciplinary Institute study group, an organization of Metrowest area dentists devoted to furthering excellence in care. Dr. Davies also serves as a mentor to students of dental health through internship programs hosted at Metrowest Family Dental. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Metrowest District of the Massachusetts Dental Society. Dr. Davies resides locally in the Metrowest area with his wife, Dr. Glab, and their daughters and spends his free time golfing and running.
Dr. Barbara A. Glab, DMD

Barbara A. Glab, DMD offers Metrowest Family Dental patients her years of
experience in general dentistry. Dr. Glab appreciates the fact that practicing dentistry at Metrowest Family Dental allows her to provide oral healthcare for families which include many generations. “The relationships I have made over the years with our patients and fellow colleagues have been invaluable. I look forward to continuing to treat our valued patients, while watching their families grow. I also welcome our many new patients and their families who have chosen to entrust their dental health to us at Metrowest Family Dental.” Dr. Glab began her dental career receiving a certificate in Dental Hygiene from Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists in 1991. She then proceeded to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Northeastern University in 1992. Dr. Glab then attended Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she received her doctorate (DMD) in 1997. She did her residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. She continues advanced, post-doctoral studies at the Pankey Dental Institute. Dr. Glab is a member of the American Dental Association, and the Metrowest District of the Massachusetts Dental Society. Dr. Glab is proficient in Polish. She resides locally in the Metrowest area and enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Dr. Davies, their daughters, and their three mini-dachshunds. When not working, Dr. Glab enjoys photography, scrapbooking, exercising, and animals.
Dr. Francis A. Harrington, DMD

As a member of Metrowest Family Dental’s team of general dentists, Dr. Francis A. Harrington, DMD, provides his expert general dentistry skills to patients with a smile. “I am privileged to be a member of the talented team of general dentists and affiliated specialists at Metrowest Family Dental. I enjoy the opportunity to not only ’fix teeth’ but to treat the individual patient. The dentist-patient relationship is a partnership where we work together to optimize the patient’s dental health.” Raised in Wellesley, Dr. Harrington received his doctorate (DMD) from Harvard University School of Dental Medicine and completed advanced education in General Dentistry at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he currently is an Assistant Clinical Professor. Dr. Harrington is the recipient of Boston University’s Excellence Award for exemplary character and clinical proficiency as a resident. He is a member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Harrington resides in Holliston with his wife and two daughters. He is an accomplished guitarist and an avid photographer. Dr. Harrington welcomes new patients and provides all phases of restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Warren Green, DMD

Dr. Warren Green was raised in Connecticut where, in addition to his studies and interest in science, he was active in several sports. He graduated college with honors and received his doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania. Following graduation he was commissioned a captain in the USAF and served for two years while receiving advanced training in oral surgery, periodontics, and restorative dentistry. He returned to New England to begin a Fellowship at Mass General Hospital and stayed on to receive an award for ten years of service. During this time he completed a Master of Science at the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Green has owned a private practice in Boston for sixteen years and has taught part time at Harvard School of Dental Medicine for more than twenty years. He is experienced in the full range of dental procedures and has specialty training in Orthodontics with an in-depth knowledge of early growth and development. Above all he is a caring, compassionate, and conscience practitioner.
Dr. Green lives with his wife in Wayland. He enjoys oil painting, baseball and the outdoors.
Dr. Lindsey McElligott, DMD

Dr. Lindsey McElligott was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She
traveled east for college and graduated from Wellesley College in 2003 with
a degree in Neuroscience. Her interest in dentistry was sparked during
college while at a routine visit to her hometown dentist. In particular, Dr.
McElligott was interested in the hands-on aspect of dentistry as well as the
opportunity to establish long-term relationships with patients. Dr.
McElligott attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated
in 2008. While at Tufts, she earned a Tufts Merit Scholarship and was also
recognized on the Dean's Honor Roll for her performance on the National
Board Dental Examination. Dr. McElligott began her career at a practice
south of Boston and is excited to continue her practicing at Metrowest
Family Dental. She is a member of the American Dental Society and the
Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr. McElligott lives in Dover with her husband and two dogs.

Catherine Moshirfar, DMD - Diplomate, American Board of Periodontology Board Certified

Dr. Moshirfar was raised in Danvers, MA. She successfully completed her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from Salem State College. Her honors as Magna Cum Laude with a minor in chemistry inspired her to pursue a career in health sciences. Thus, dentistry was her choice. Dr. Moshirfar received her D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During her dental training at Tufts, she developed a special interest in periodontology. Recognizing her effort and interest in periodontology, she was the recipient of an award from the Northeastern Society of Periodontics. Her excellent academic performance earned her a place on the Dean's List for the National Dental Boards. Dr. Moshirfar's enthusiasm and motivation to excel in periodontology lead her to pursue an advanced degree. Dr. Moshirfar obtained her certificate in Periodontology at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During her training as a periodontist at Tufts her clinical abilities and academic performance earned her the position of Chief Resident.
Dr. Moshirfar maintains her clinical work at the highest quality by practicing the highest standards for therapy to benefit all her patients. She believes that a continuous involvement in academics will help her share her acquired knowledge and learn from the upcoming generations. She enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and golf in her spare time. She is very excited to join the Metrowest Family dental team and contribute her energy and skills to quality patient care.
Dr. Peter C. Rider, DMD - Endodontist

Metrowest Family Dental’s team of affiliated specialists includes Peter C. Rider, DMD, specializing in endodontics (root canal therapy). Dr. Rider has practiced in the Metrowest area for 20 years and enjoys working in a group practice setting, “to educate patients in various phases of dentistry as well as treat them endodontically.” Born and raised in Yeadon, PA, Dr. Rider received a B.S. degree from Providence College in 1967. He then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 1971. After serving in the United States Air Force, Dr. Rider attended the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he received his certificate in endodontics in 1977. Dr. Rider is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Society, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. He and his family have lived in Holliston for 15 years. Dr. Rider’s personal interests include tennis, cycling, and gourmet cooking.
Luis Del Castillo, DMD - Prosthodontist

As a member of the team, Dr. Luis Del Castillo offers his expertise in Prosthodontics to the patients of Metrowest Family Dental. "I am very happy to be a part of this beautiful office and to work with such a brilliant and capable team." Originally from Venezuela; he obtained his D.D.S. degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela and did his Prosthodontics Specialty studies at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he obtained his D.M.D degree as well.
Dr. Del Castillo manages his time between Private Practice and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he is an Clinical Professor. He has received the Dean's Excellence Award in clinical teaching on two occasions. "I like the balance of teaching and working with my own patients. It is very rewarding when you can shape a young dentist's mind and show them the proper way of doing dentistry. Then see them learning and being able to handle projects on their own, is just as rewarding as a seeing a beautiful smile on a patient and knowing how comfortable and happy a patient is after a complex Prosthetic case."
Dr. Del Castillo resides in Winchester with his wife, who is also a dentist. He enjoys cycling and musical performance. He is an avid guitarist and bassist. He is very excited to join the Metrowest Family Dental team and contribute his skills to provide our patients with the best quality patient care.
